Many Standing Preventing Diabetes

Therefore, health officials recommend 150 minutes of physical activity each week as a program to encourage people to be more active, according to research from the University of Leicester, England. They find type 2 diabetes risk factors such as blood glucose and cholesterol levels will increase when people sit too long.

Type 2 diabetes affects mostly middle-aged people and occurs when the body gradually loses its ability to process blood sugar. So that the blood sugar to spike and can damage organs. The disease is associated with lifestyle factors such as overweight or obesity, making people less active and eating unhealthy foods.

The team from the Diabetes Research Unit at the University of Leicester examined the patients regarding their activity levels and diabetes. The patients potentially affected by diabetes aged between their late 30s to late 60s.
