The Benefits Of Sleep While Listen Music

Tekno41 Health - Have a problem with the ability to remember? Try to listen to music while sleeping. A new study says, such activities can help sharpen memory. The researchers found that listening to sounds that are aligned with the slow rhythm of oscillation will increase the brain's process of oscillations that will improve memory, even the quality of sleep.


As long as it is already known the existence of the oscillation (vibration) slow in brain activity happens in the stages of sleep, called "slow-wave sleep". Study author Dr. Jan Born, from the University of Tubingen in Germany says, the processcan be run well by using sound with low intensity. "This approach is most practical when compared to other methods of sharpeningmemory such as electrical stimulation," saidBorn.


Born and his team perform tests on 11 people given sound stimulation. When the participants were given stimulation synchronizedsound with a slow brain oscillations, they remember better the relationship said they had learned the previous day.


However, not just any voice that can increase brain oscillations. Born says, sound stimulation is effective only on the sound synchronized with slow oscillations that occur during the phases of sleep in. "We present acoustic stimulation can strengthen the slow oscillations. So can elevate the amplitude of the oscillations and the occurrence of lengthening the period of slow-wave slepp, "said Born.


The researchers suspect this technique mayalso improve the quality of sleep. Born says,the same method might also be used to enhance the ability of the brain, such as when awake and paying attention.
