How to Use File Manager in cPanel

How do I use the File Manager in cPanel

Now you must already login to cPanel.

Now let's learn how to use the File Manager

1) click on the File Manager icon

2) select the directory (folder) you want to open, and then click Go

This is a File Manager application interface, where you can upload your files to your hosting account, delete the file, change the permissions/permissions (CHMOD), and many more other functions

On the left there is a list of the folders that you have in your hosting account and on the right there is a list of all files and folders located in the folder you select in the left

Your website files (HTML pages, images GIF/JPG, etc.) should be placed in the folder public_html

Use this function to upload those files to your hosting account, and also for setting the access rights/permissions on the file

It is easy to create a new folder (click on the New Folder icon)

the same as creating a new file (click on the New icon File)

You can also use File Manager to change the access rights/permissions files or folders

Basically, the File Manager makes it easy for us to organize files and folders that you have in your hosting account, when you don't have access to an FTP application
